Chisholm College is situated in a hill overlooking the moat lake system and the University buildings.
Student rooms are located in twelve interconnecting towers which surround the administration and the Arts Centre.
Each tower has three levels, the ground level having eight rooms and the second and third levels twelve rooms.
Bed /study rooms are:
- centrally heated,carpeted and furnished with a bed, desk, study chair, chest of drawers, wardrobe, bookshelves and desk lamp.
- All connected to the internet via ethernet cable
- Cleaned weekly
Each floor has:
- Shared bath, shower and toilet facilities
- A fully equipped kitchen with fridge, microwave oven, stove and eating area.
- Facilities for hand washing and ironing
- Telephones for incoming calls. Public telephones are available in the foyer of the administration building.
Facilities:
The hub of student activities is situated in the main building of the college.
Here you will find:
- Caroline's Cafe where meals and other day to day items may be purchased.
- The college library and the Roger Joyce Room, situated on the upper level, which are available for study purposes, meetings or use of video equipment.
- Two TV lounges with Foxtel
- A billiards/pool and table tennis area
- The Radford hall which is used for activities such as international dinner, the annual Caroline Chisholm Lecture and my be booked for private parties.
